Day 01: Calicut

On arrival at the Cochin International Airport meet our tour representative who will escort you to the hotel. Calicut also known as Kozhikode. It was formerly the capital of the erstwhile Malabar District. Calicut, the most important city of Malabar region of Kerala, was a leading trading

centre for spices on the West Coast of India during the medieval period Lush green forests, rivers, wildlife, hills, a unique culture and a warm friendly ambience invite the tourist. Rest of the day relax and overnight stay at Resort. Arrival Bangalore morning/Evening. Pick up from the Airport, Railway Station. Transfer to Hotel.Later go for a sightseeing of Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Tippu’s Palace, Bull Temple, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

 
Day 02: Calicut

After and later on move out for the local tour. Visit Pazhassirajah Museum, Art Gallery, Kozhikode Beach, Dolphin's Point, Thikkoti Lighthouse and so on. Later on return back to the hotel and overnight at Resort.

Day 03: Calicut - Wayanad

Morning after breakfast drive to Wayanad. It is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kerala where man and nature move hand in hand. It was earlier known as Mayakshetra (Maya's land). Mayakshetra evolved into Mayanad and finally to Wayanad. It is known for its spice and tea plantations. It's also the one of the important tribal areas of Kerala. The native Adivasis mainly consist of various sects like Paniyas, Kurumas, and others. On reaching Wayanad check in resort and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 04: Wayanad

Morning after breakfast drive out for the local tour and visit the interesting places like Banasura Dam – the largest earth dam of India Chembra Peak – the highest peak in Tamil Nadu, Edakkal Cave , Kuruva Island , Muthanga Wild Life Sanctuary, Pookat Lake and so on. Also get involved in the adventurous sports monuntainering, trekking etc. Overnight at Wayanad.

Day 05: Wayanad - Ooty

Morning after breakfast proceed to Ooty. Later proceed for sight seeing which include Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Ooty Town Shopping, Doddabetta Peak. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 06: Ooty

Today you will proceed to Coonoor to look from close quarters the Tea Gardens, Rose Garden, Sim's Park, Avalanche, Dolphin's nose, Ketty Valley, Koddandu Point, Lambs Park. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 07: Ooty - Kodaikanal

After early morning breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal enroute visit Palani Temples. Reach Kodaikanal & settle down in Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Day 08: Kodaikannal

The full day is free. You may choose to visit the Kodaikanal Lake, spread over an area of 60 acres and surrounded by wooded slopes. The attractive walk around the lake takes between one and a half hours. Additionally, you have the option of boating or fishing. Later visit Cocker’s Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Day 09: Kodaikannal - Madurai

After break fast, Drive to Madurai. Madurai: More than 2500 years old ancient city, situated on the banks of the river Vaigai Madurai is believed to have been built by the Pandyan King Kulasekara. Legend has it that drops of Maduram (nectar) fell from Lord Shiva's locks when he came to bless its people for constructing a temple for him. Madurai's history can be divided into four periods, beginning over 2000 years ago, when it was the capital of the Pandyan Kings. Apart from a brief period it fell to the Cholas, Madurai remain with Pandyan till the decline of the empire. The 200year old reign of the Natakas marked the golden era when art, architecture and learning scaled new heights. Overnight at Madurai.

Day 10: Madurai - Tanjore (180 km-5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Thanjavur (Tanjore). Tanjore once the capital of Chola Kings, has the Brahadeswara temple(or the big temple of God).The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 mts and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts.Later back to Madurai for your overnight stay.

Day 11: Madurai - Excursion to Rameshwaram –Madurai (360kms - 10 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram ( 180Km – 5Hrs) - the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Madurai for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Madurai - Kanyakumari (260 km-6.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari.On Arrive and Check in the hotel. Full day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Kanyakumari.

Day 13: Kanyakumari

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari sightseeing – the land’s end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples – a symbol of unity and sanctity – dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To its South – East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial , a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set. Overnight at hotel in Kanyakumari.

Day 14: Kanyakumari - Kovalam (90 km-3hrs)

After watching sunrise at Kanyakumari proceed to Kovalam. Optional: enroute local sightseeing of Trivandrum which includes Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Later proceed to Kovalam Beach. Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.

Day 15: Kovalam

Full day at leisure at beach. (Optional: Go for a Ayurvedic message). Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.

Day 16: Kovalam

Relax day Take Ayurveda massage. Overnight at Kovalam. Kovalam Beach Retreat.

Day 17: Kovalam

Day at leisure at beach.Overnight at Kovalam. Kovalam Beach Retreat.

Day 18: Kovalam - Alleppey

Morning after breakfast proceed to the Alleppey. Reach and check into the Hotel. This journey is considered to be one of the best attractions. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 19: Alleppey (Houseboat)

Morning after breakfast check into the deluxe houseboat to enjoy the 24 hours of backwater cruise. This journey is considered to be one of the best attractions. The house boat is fully furnished with single and double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, driver & cabin assistant. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. The main wood used is "Anjili". Spend a night at the house boat.

Day 20: Houseboat

Day at leisure at Houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 21: Houseboat - Kumarakom

Check out from the houseboat and travel to beautiful destination named kumarakom. Kumarakom is famous for its backwaters and the bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 22: Kumarakom

Relax and overnight at hotel at Kumararkom.

Day 23: Kumarakom – Thekkady

This morning, drive into the heart of the spice hills in Thekkady. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy a walk through the bustling spice market of Kumily village in Thekkady or you have the option of taking a boat cruise on Lake Periyar which is the best way to locate wildlife in Periyar Sanctuary (boats can be hired directly there). sight seeing of Thekkady. The sanctuary watchtowers: There are three watchtowers for observing wild life - at Edappalayam and Manakkavala and Thannikudi. Kumily: This plantation town, closely associated with Thekkady, is situated on the outskirts of the Periyar Sanctuary. It is an important shopping centre and spice trade centre, the main bus station. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 24: Thekkady

Morning after breakfast proceed to sight seeing. It is an important shopping centre and spice trade centre, the main bus station and most of the medium range accommodation in the Periyar region is in Kumily. Murikkady: Washed in fresh spice scented air, Murikkady is a panorama of cardamom, coffee and pepper plantations. Pandikuzhi: This picturesque place is cradled between Chellarkovil and the Tamil Nadu State border is a popular picnic spot. Pandikuzhi offers great opportunities for trekking and is a photographer's delight. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 25: Thekkady – Munnar

After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel & embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute. On arrival, check in at Hotel/ Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 26: Munnar

A morning sight seeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, Echo Point, View Point & Tea Gardens. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 27: Munnar

Day at leisure and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 28: Munnar – Cochin

Morning after breakfast drive to Cochin . It is situated on the south-west coast of Indian Peninsula . It is known as the queen of the Arabian Sea and the Gateway to Kerala.On arrival cochin check in hotel and later on move out for the local tour. Visit the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St:Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace . Later in the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 29: Cochin

Relax and overnight at hotel at Cochin.

Day 30: Departure

Morning after breakfast drive to Cochin Airport to board your flight to the onwards destination.
